The Phalanx Riot Armor, developed by Hergenrader Weapons Company, is a full body but light weight set of protective armor. While it is not bulletproof, it utilizes a unique layering of materials to protect the wearer from blunt force trauma, electric shocks, fire and bladed weapons. The idea was to build a suit specifically designed for domestic riots where non lethal methods must be used. Due to high amounts of unrest throughout the MDZ, many corporations have utilized their private military to maintain order and have issued these sets to their primary riot response teams.
